What is Balance payment?

The balance payment is the remainder of the order value — usually 70% after a 30% deposit — and the single most important leverage point in an import deal. It should only leave your account after a pre-shipment inspection report confirms quantity, workmanship, function and packaging against your approved sample. Once the balance is paid and the goods sail, fixing a problem means shipping things back across an ocean; before payment, it means one firm email.
