What is DAP?

Delivered At Place (DAP) obliges the seller to carry the goods to your named destination β€” your warehouse door, for example β€” ready for unloading, including export clearance and main carriage. Import clearance and any duty remain yours unless you agree otherwise, which is exactly what separates DAP from DDP. DAP suits importers who want one freight quote to the door but prefer to handle duty through their own broker.
